During SDG Digital, senior leaders from government, the technology industry and civil society will come together to underscore how digital technologies can be leveraged to accelerate progress towards the SDGs and their targets and mobilize new commitments to advance inclusive and responsible digital transformation for implementation of the 2030 Agenda. This special event on Sunday 17 September will include the unveiling of an SDG Digital Acceleration Plan, a showcase of game-changing digital solutions, and launch of the High Impact Initiative on Digital Public Infrastructure.

Background
Digital technology remains among the most promising but underutilized tools to unlock SDG progress. To steer the digital revolution towards SDG progress, while mitigating new risks, we need a focused approach at national and international level, and a step-change in ambition, policies, and funding approaches.
