Amid converging crises, the world stands at a crossroads, a critical juncture in our global timeline towards achieving a sustainable development and stabilizing our climate. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has called for an urgent course correction, urging world leaders to come together behind a rescue plan for people and planet — a rallying cry for synergistic action.

By aligning climate solutions with the SDGs, we can create a model for action that ensures no one is left behind and propels us to the right side of history.

Over the years, the SDG Pavilion has emerged as a to hub of hope and action. By bringing together a diverse array of stakeholders, it unites and aligns their voices, visions and actions. In Baku, the SDG Pavilion’s mission is to serve as a platform for showcasing tangible, synergistic solutions that address both the climate emergency and SDG challenges simultaneously, ensuring a holistic transition towards a just, equitable and sustainable world.

The SDG Pavilion at COP29 in Baku served as a hub for hope and action, furthering our efforts in tackling climate change and achieving the SDGs in synergy.

 

WHAT TO LOOK UP FOR

Between 11 to 22 November, the SDG Pavilion hosted the collaboration of over 120 multi-stakeholder partners from nearly 90 countries from all world regions. This collective effort contributed to the execution of more than 100 impactful events. The Pavilion's program was designed to provide an inclusive platform to foster partnerships and advance synergies between climate action and all 17 SDGs, showcasing tangible solutions for the future.
