Climate-related disasters doubled this decade compared to the 1980s, while man-made natural disasters, such as floods and droughts, have almost tripled during the same period.
Displayed in this graph are values measuring floods, storms, droughts, wildfires, extreme temperatures and "others". "Others" refers to earthquakes, epidemics, infestations, landslides, mass movements and volcanoes. Chart: Global Humanitarian Overview 2022.
