We offer one-hour walking tours through the complex, accompanied by one of our knowledgeable tour guides. Be invited to walk with us through the corridor of world flags before visiting the conference rooms where world leaders convene. Walking Tour With UN Overview Briefing

Special offer for groups: The walking tour can be combined with a briefing about the UN. The walking tour and briefing take about two hours. The briefing takes place in a conference setting and gives a more detailed overview of the history, structure and work of the United Nations.

Human Rights Workshops

After their tour, school groups can opt for one of our Human Rights Workshops: We briefly explain the concept of human rights, discuss children’s rights and find out who is responsible to protect our rights, and what we can do to safeguard our own rights.

The "Green Building" is the newest construction in the UN Nairobi complex. It is energy-neutral.

The “Green Building” hosts the global headquarters of the UN Environment Programme and UN-Habitat, the Human Settlements Programme. Bookings are made in combination with the walking tour.
